Participate in the IDEA Project!

If you are between the ages of 16 and 25, have type 1 diabetes, and a smart phone or other device, the IDEA Project might be for you!

Have you been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for at least 6 months? Are you 16-25 years old? Do you have a smart phone? You might be eligible!

The IDEA Project is a mHealth program to help young adults (16-25 years old) take charge of their diabetes. There are three parts of the program:

  • Text message reminders
  • A personalized question list to bring to diabetes appointments 
  • Two brief mobile delivered treatment sessions

Participation includes 3 study visits over 6 months. Participants will receive up to $345 for completing study visits, which will take place remotely. This program will be delivered on your smart phone or preferred mobile device.
