Kristin Murphy
Biography
Kristin Murphy is a Lighthouse scholar and graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in public health at Wayne State University. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in literature from the University of Detroit Mercy. Kristin has a passion for creating equitable health solutions and has participated in research studies focusing on food security and healthcare accessibility for underrepresented populations. She joined the IDEA Project to assist teenagers and young adults in improving their health outcomes and to contribute to further understanding and awareness of diabetes. In her leisure time, Kristin enjoys traveling, writing, and playing with her dogs, Boston and Duchess.
