Rubab Imtiaz

Biography

Rubab is a current medical student at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and majored in BCN (Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience). She has an interest in the fields of Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics as a future physician. Her past research experience involved escalating and de-escalating care for infant bronchiolitis patients at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Rubab chose to be a part of the IDEA project due to her interests in improving patient care and management options for those living with chronic illnesses such as Diabetes. It also coincides with her interest in Primary Care and Public Health. In her free time, Rubab enjoys spending time with friends and family, and ending the day with a good book.
