Rumyah Rafique
Biography
Hi! My name is Rumyah, a third-year medical student at Wayne State University School of Medicine. I graduated from Wayne State Undergrad with a bachelor's degree in public health honors and a minor in chemistry (grew up in the city of Detroit and loved it so much I stayed!). I have always been passionate about patient education and providing patients with the tools necessary to take control of their health, which lead me to the IDEA project. In my free time I enjoy landscape painting, a good movie, and spending time with my friends, family, and adorable cat Boba.
