Biography
Dahlia Kathawa will be graduating in December 2023 with her BS in Nursing through the accelerated nursing program at Wayne State University. She previously received her BA in Nutrition and Food Sciences with a minor in Health Psychology in December 2021. She currently works as a Nurse Extern in an Intensive Care Unit and hopes to be an ICU nurse and Nurse Case Manager when she graduates. Dahlia chose to join the IDEA project because it aligned with her interests in improving patient outcomes and relationships, and relates to her backgrounds in Nutrition and Nursing. During her spare time, Dahlia enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring restaurants in the Metro Detroit area, and cycling.
