Biography

 Dariane Vesey is on a Pre-Med track as a 4th year undergraduate student at Wayne State University. She is majoring in Public Health, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies. She joined Dr. Carcone’s research team in May 2022 through the NIH-funded biomedical research program, ReBUILD Detroit, at Wayne State. Dariane hopes to one day become a physician, as her interests relate to health equity in family medicine, pediatrics, and laparoscopic surgery.
