Kaylianna McCormick

Biography

Kaylianna McCormick is originally from Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Belmont University (Nashville, TN) with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Education in December 2022. In her undergraduate studies, Kaylianna conducted and participated in research labs, engaging with rodent and human subjects. She examined various research topics including the science of art and mindfulness, learning and conditioning in psychology, and the dynamics of personality. Kaylianna is interested in clinical research, child psychology, and public health. She presented her research at Belmont University Research Symposiums in 2021 and 2022. In addition, Kaylianna is also a Phlebotomy Technician. Kaylianna joined the IDEA Project to help emerging adults learn more about themselves and to utilize resources offered in the community. New to Michigan, she enjoys trying new restaurants and taking her two dogs to the park.
